Mamori Jungle Lodge The Mamori Lodge is located in the heart of Mamori Lake. The access is through the BR 319 up to the Km 52 in the Araça Community and then following with motor boat in Mamori River up to the Inn. The Inn offers air-conditioned restaurant, convenience store and bar. The lodge has capacity to 32 people, guests is rustic chalets colonial style with view to the amazing Amazon forest. The chalet building is made of bricks and Wood. The room has air-conditioning, private bath and verandah. The fishing package includes motorized canoe, electrical engine and local guides. Mamori lodge is a great option for individual anglers to enjoy the Amazon Forest river fishing. It is possible to swim in the lake around the Lodge. Radios and guns are prohibit. Transfers and local expeditions are based on regular basis and subjected to change and/or cancellation without previous warn according to the weather conditions. Bellow, a list of stuff you have to bring to your ecotourism or fishing package ordered in "day use stuff" and "personal stuff": DAY USE STUFF - Carry it with you in bag: Rain gear; sun lotion; repellent; small flash light; camera and lens, film or memory card , batteries; binoculars; snacks; plastic bags; hat or cap; book & walkman during long boat trip; PERSONAL STUFF - Put in your luggage: Cotton light clothes including T-shirts with long sleeves and long pants; sneakers or boats for jungle walking; an extra par of sneakers or shoes, a pair of socks/Day and an extra pair; sandals; swimming gear; strong flash light for nocturnal tours, personal toilets stuff and personal medicine. FISHING PACKAGE 1st. Day (Sunday) Manaus->Pousada: The driver will be at airport or hotel to take you to the lodge. The transfer occurs in many steps: in van from airport or Hotel in the city to the Ceasa Port; pass by the meeting of Waters of Negro and Amazonas River by boat; by car again for 40 Km in BR 319 Highway and finally by boat up to the Pousada Mamori. In total, it is around of 3 hours in a very nice travel, with beautiful landscape representing many different Amazon ecosystems. In the Pousada, the reception with welcome drink, check-in and accommodation. Tour to recognize the area and preparation of the equipment for the next days. 2nd. to 5th. Day (Monday to Thursday) 4 days dedicated to the fishing in the large lake with many structures for fishing, different riverbank profiles and vegetation of vary characteristics. 6th Day (Friday) Pousada->Manaus: Breakfast and transfer to the airport or hotel in Manaus.
