flooded area) with destination to the Janauacá Lake in the
region of Miuá at night. There will be an expedition with
volunteers to observe the nocturnal fauna.

In the region of the Furo
of the Mamorí, little far from where we spent a night, we wake
up very early with the breakfast waiting for us and a canoe ride
paddling to hear the sound of the forest and to surprise the
fauna surround. This place is like a labyrinth of igarapés (small
creeks), igapós (flooded forests) and lakes shelter of a great
variety of birds and monkeys of the region. Back to the boat
around 9 a.m. for the breakfast. After that a primitive fishing
using only lines and lures of meat or fish. It is simple and
efficient, so we will add the product of the fishing to our lunch.
During lunchtime we will navigate upstream the Jutaí Lake, where
we will visit the village with the same name. There is a church,
many families still live there and some empty houses for those
visit the village for the saint party, which occurs every year.

the sun lights, specially the alligators (caimans).

vegetables, papaya, manioc between the amount of things sold in
the "regatões"(boat used to navigate across the rivers
selling many different kind of products) doing their business in
surrounded cities of Manaus, Manacapuru and Iranduba. Following,
a canoe ride to the curious Lago Encantado (Enchanted Lake). A
large area covered by a floating vegetation with aningas, embaúbas,
