Amazonat
Jungle Lodge
The Amazonat Jungle Lodge is
located in AM 10 road, 160 km far of Manaus, capital of
Amazonas State. It comprehends an area of 300 hectares,
located in firm land ("Terra Firme"), which
means not flooding, but possessing water sources, small
creeks (igarapés) and an enormous diversity of fauna and
flora. The leisure center has two
swimming pools, one volley square, gym equipment made of
wood, fishing lake and an area with 14 km of trails
inside the forest.
In addition, it possesses 15 hectares cultivated with more than 20,000
fruitful trees, mainly original in the region, looking
like "Eden Garden".
Note: All wood used in Amazonat construction was acquired from "Mil Madeiras". Mil Madeiras is
a company certified by "FSC - Forest Stewardship Council A.C." Smartwood.
 The comfortable bungalows consist
of living room, independent bedroom and private bathroom.
In the living room, the sofa bed can comfortable
accommodates one adult or two children. The bungalows with verandah offer a nice view of the lodge and the forest.
The
Arara's restaurant was built in the regional style (malocas):
in opened area, covered for great palm leaves. Its
paintings and decorations of local artists give a
tropical air. There, the guests meet each other for meals
and "the Happy Hour". It is also a place for playing games (cards, domino and billiards) or
watching TV documentaries about the region. The kitchen
is specialized in regional, international and vegetarian
plates. The water comes from a mineral source of first
quality and the electricity comes of a proper generator
working 24 hours per day.
The
packages depart from Manaus (Hotel or airport) in the
afternoon and return in the morning of the last day.
Jungle Survival Camps
In order fully exploration of the rainforest, two jungle campsites have been constructed in addition to the lodge proper.
These two survival camps are located at 4 and 7 kilometers (roughly 2 and 4 miles) from the lodge. In one of these campsites, you can spend one or more nights under authentic jungle conditions.
The Jane’s Place campsite is the nearest located about 2 hours walking from the lodge.
Jane’s Place is highly popular with guests who stay for shorter periods.
The more experienced and adventurous traveler will be allowed to walk the 3 hours hike to the second site called Indian Camp. From Indian Camp you can make even longer, multiple-day expeditions with one of our experienced guides.

Between 01:00PM and 03:00PM transfer from the airport or urban hotel to Amazonat Jungle Lodge by van with a reception/welcome drink in the Boiuna Legend House where study corner, library, cybercafé, souvenir and homeopathic shop are located. The schedule includes a light program for to-day activity after the guest accommodation. A to get to know the lodge tour is made including orchid parks, the orchard that contains over 5000 local fruit trees of various species and the lake area. Later in the early evening, it will take a place the nocturnal walk in the primary forest to meet the sound and some of its habitants of the rainforest.

2nd and 3rd

Start of two days jungle trek with overnight in Jane´s Survival Camp. Second day, full day of jungle activities with an emphasis on exploring the biodiversity of the primary forest We will pay special attention to wildlife and the various ecosystems present in the rainforest. At night, we will learn jungle survival techniques focusing on finding your way around the jungle. Continuation of third day: jungle exploration with return to Amazonat Jungle Lodge later afternoon. Remainder day free. |
4 and 5th
days |
Two-day river expedition. Forth day, a full day exploring Rio Preto da Eva, a black water river locally known for having two eco-systems due to the influence of the nearby Amazonas River. Night spent with local family in hammocks. Next morning, full day Amazonas River observing its vast array of flora and fauna. Visit to local communities supported by Amazonat. Return to Amazonat Jungle Lodge late in the afternoon. |

7:30 a.m. transfer by van to the airport in Manaus. On the way we will visit Meeting of the Waters, the spot where Solimões River (in Brazil) becomes the Amazonas River after merging waters of the giant Negro and stop outside the historic Manaus Opera House. End of package around noon. |

Full day exploring the black water Urubu River including a visit to an Igapó, a flooded forest. We will visit a local Caboclo family living along the riverbank that grows manioc (cassava) for a living. BBQ lunch and swimming along one of the many white sand beaches found here. |

Full day jungle trek in a primary forest. We will have lunch in Jane´s Survival Camp where, the more adventurous guests have the option to spend the night and sleep in a hammock to experience the rainforest up close both by day and night. |

Full day Amazon River tour. This trip will show the natural wealth of this river in this region with its vast array of flora and fauna. Visit to a local community supported by Amazonat. Return to Amazonat Jungle Lodge around 8.30 p.m. |
