Amazon Tupana Lodge It is located 173Km South of Manaus in the Biological Reservation of Tupana River, an ecological paradise, rich area in fauna and flora where we can find a large variety of species of aquatic birds, mammals, fish and reptiles. The transportation up the lodge begins with an adventure in the meeting of waters of Amazonas River (Called by locals: Solimões) and Negro River, running side by side. Then, 178 km of highway BR 319 which use to connect to Transamazonica highway (this road used to link Amazonas state with rest of Brazil, but it is partially destroyed). During the way to Amazon Tupana Lodge, observe the rich landscape and great quantity of water lilies and birds. The Amazon Tupana Lodge is a small size lodge with but charming. Its rustic Amazon architecture carefully planned to not affecting the environment provides a comfortable stay. The lodge offer facilities like reception, laundry, restaurant with regional cosine, bar, electric power 110v (The electricity is 110V supplied by diesel engine between the time 12:00h to 15:00h and 18:00h to 08:00h).
