Boat Information
There
are several ways to see the Amazon wonders. Amazon
Clipper cruises provide you with the opportunity to see
and enjoy nature at its fullest in the wonderful
environment of the Amazon Rain Forest, specially at dawn
and dusk.
Amazon Clipper
Cruises uses several boats with similar comfort and
facilities, such as the "AMAZON ANGLER", the
"SELLY CLIPPER II" and the "SELLY CLIPPER",
which are Amazon riverboats with traditional lines. They
were designed exclusively for cruising on the Amazon
River and its tributaries. Using years of experience on
other tour boats we made several design innovations to
make them as comfortable as possible and still offer a
perfect interaction with nature.
All our riverboats offer
the same comfort: double cabins with bunk berths, private
toilet facilities and nighttime air conditioning. Social
life is divided between the covered saloon, with bar,
dinning area and library and the panoramic sum deck with
fantastic view. The boat's kitchens are fully equipped
with freezers, charcoal filters and a large supply of
mineral water.
The shallow
draught allows us to visit locations inaccessible to many
other boats and the outboard powered canoes that we carry
are used for trips in lagoons, narrow channels, creeks
and flooded forest.
